New Online Auction to Benefit Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Titleholders and Program
MUSTANG, OKLA., FEBRUARY 1, 2021—The Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council with the support of Ken Carpenter Auction & Realty LLC announce Spurrin’ On, an online auction, beginning February 27 and ending on March 13, 2021.
Proceeds will support the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma 2020 titleholders called upon to continue their reigns throughout 2021 after Covid-19 resulted in the cancellation of last year’s pageant. One hundred percent of proceeds from items contributed by Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Kylie Myers of Moore, Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen Rebeka Breger of Cashion, and Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Princess McKynlie Bowers of Woodward will help fund their expenses in traveling the state and nation to represent the sport of rodeo. Myers will represent Oklahoma in the Miss Rodeo America Pageant in December 2021.
Additional auction items will benefit the nonprofit Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council (ORPC), the volunteer-led organization that conducts the annual Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Pageant. Most proceeds from these items will help stage the next pageant scheduled for June 9-12, 2021, in Woodward, Oklahoma, home of the Woodward Elks Rodeo. Twenty-five percent of proceeds will be designated specifically to scholarships, a focus of the ORPC.
Anyone is invited to view the auction items and make online bids beginning February 27. Complete details will be available at: http://www.kencarpenterauction.com
