About the Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council Inc.
We are committed to our mission of providing diverse opportunities for the development of the young women of Oklahoma to maximize their educational potential while promoting the sport of rodeo, the State of Oklahoma, its legacy and the western way of life.
The Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Scholarship Pageant is conducted by the 501(c)3 nonprofit Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council Inc. The MRO Pageant provides opportunities for Oklahoma's young women in four age categories and believes there is great value for all who participate. The pageant selects Oklahoma’s representative to the Miss Rodeo America Pageant held each year in Las Vegas prior to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.
The Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council works year-round on good governance and strives to always operate a program based on integrity and fairness. More details are found in the organizational Bylaws and Policies and Procedures.
