ORPC Welcomes New Member Volunteers for 2022

Picture
The Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization. All active volunteers are asked to commit to a nominal annual membership of $40 per person. The membership is a calendar-year commitment, meaning it begins anew on January 1. Go ahead and sign up now so that you can begin receiving information on activities and opportunities to get connected with this active and dynamic pageant community. Application available by clicking here.
While we're giving a shout out to volunteers, here is a tip of the hat to ORPC Treasurer Karen Holland (3rd from left), recipient of the 2021 Jack J. Wells Award for service to the Oklahoma Rodeo Pageants Council. She was surprised with the award and joined by family for the presentation.

65 for 65 Donors

In 2021, a group of supporters stepped up to help the pageant raise important scholarship dollars. Donor support like this makes all the difference in the ability of the ORPC to continue offering educational awards. Check out those who helped and consider making an annual gift yourself. You'll like the way it feels to make a difference in the lives of Oklahoma's young women promoting rodeo and the western way of life.

In Loving Memory of Jack J. Wells, 1942-2019

oWestern artist Jack J. Wells and his wife, Alice, have been longtime supporters of the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma program,  providing Jack's prints for the annual raffle and creating an original framed portrait for each Miss Rodeo Oklahoma. Jack even walked away with the crown once as "Mister Rodeo Oklahoma." Most importantly, they encouraged contestants, supported the organization and its volunteers and became our friends. Donations in Jack's memory may be designated to the ORPC and will be applied toward a Jack J. Wells scholarship.
