Golf Tourney Wins Again
ORPC Volunteer Wendy Gammon coordinated the 7th annual Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Scholarship Scramble on April 28. She writes, "I want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone that participated in the golf tournament yesterday! All my helpers from ORPC, the MRO & other title holders, the Elks rodeo committee, the staff at Boiling Springs golf club, all of the sponsors that donated door prizes, and sponsored a hole or a team. But the real hero’s from yesterday’s golf monsoon are the golfers! Everyone was so kind and friendly and had no issues with all the rain. Everybody came with a good attitude to have fun and that’s exactly what we did! It was a great day for a great event! And the icing on the cake is when the winning team donated their cash prize back to the ORPC. Thanks again to all involved I couldn’t have done it without you! Seventy-five percent of proceeds go directly to benefit pageant scholarships.

In Loving Memory of Jack J. Wells, 1942-2019
Western artist Jack J. Wells and his wife, Alice, have been longtime supporters of the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma program, providing Jack's prints for the annual raffle and creating an original framed portrait for each Miss Rodeo Oklahoma. Jack even walked away with the crown once as "Mister Rodeo Oklahoma." Most importantly, they encouraged contestants, supported the organization and its volunteers and became our friends. Donations in Jack's memory may be designated to the ORPC and will be applied toward a Jack J. Wells scholarship.
