It’s been said that the blue sapphire associated with a 65th Anniversary symbolizes loyalty, trust and peace, and fulfillment of dreams and prosperity. What great attributes to connect to the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Pageant! We’ve been helping fulfill dreams of Oklahoma’s young women for six and one-half decades.
65 is a big number. The ORPC wants the values of this organization to continue for at least another 65 years, and with your help they can. A major initiative in recent years is to solidify and grow scholarship support for the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma program. In 2019, the organization significantly increased scholarship dollars, more than doubling the awards.
The ORPC has big scholarship goals. In 2021, the public was invited to consider a gift to the ORPC Scholarship Fund to make this milestone extra special, and many responded. The kickoff for this effort was a special Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Alumni Luncheon held just prior to the pageant coronation. Several alumnae from the Miss, Teen and Princess were in attendance and are pictured above.
Fundraising for scholarships is ongoing. If you want to make a donation, contact the ORPC office or any Board member. Special thanks to these $65 for 65 donors! Diamond Sapphire ($500+) Ronda Merrifield
