Twenty-two-year-old Landry Layton is a proud Oklahoma cowgirl. Born into a ranching and rodeo legacy, she is the daughter of Rowdy and Tiffany Layton of Welch. Landry grew up on a working cattle ranch and is a fifth-generation cattlewoman, known for raising high-quality Red Angus cattle, and a third-generation rodeo cowgirl. Her late grandfather, a PRCA steer wrestler and Gold Card Member, influenced her love of rodeo.
In November 2023, Landry received the prestigious American FFA degree, the organization’s highest honor. She loves sharing about her Western heritage and advocating for agriculture. Along with being Miss Rodeo Oklahoma 2026, Landry is a senior at Oklahoma State University, majoring in Animal Science Pre-Veterinary Medicine and is also a member of the Oklahoma State University Spirit Rider Team, caring for the American Quarter Horse mascot, Bullet.
Landry is enthusiastic about promoting her platform, “Leave A Legacy,” which focuses on encouraging individuals to make a lasting impact in their communities by preserving tradition, serving others, and leading with integrity. Through “Leave A Legacy,” Landry hopes to inspire the next generation to embrace their roots, contribute to something greater than themselves and never lose sight of those who rode the trail before us.
